R&D Center

We respond to industry needs by designing innovative automotive solutions. We rigorously test the durability and performance of our products and increase efficiency through smart manufacturing processes. While customizing our production with special tool and mold engineering services, we continuously optimize our lines with a focus on efficiency.

Development
Capabilities

Thanks to our experienced development team, modern technological infrastructure, and a rich talent pool, we are able to meet our customers' demands in both Build-to-Print and Full Service Supplier (FSS) product development and manufacturing processes.

AVAILABLE DESIGN AND VALIDATION SOFTWARE

  • SIEMENS NX
  • CATIA V5
  • ICEM Surf
  • ENOVIA (Data Management System)
  • MOLD FLOW ANALYSIS (Autodesk Moldflow Insight)
  • STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS (Ansys)
  • MODAL ANALYSIS (Ansys)
  • THERMAL ANALYSIS (Ansys)
  • POLYFLOW (Blow Molding)

we use software like these.

Simulations

We perform static, dynamic, explicit (crash), implicit, and non-linear simulations. Calculations are carried out for different ambient temperatures, including fatigue analyses. We use ANSYS software for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) calculations. For plastic injection molding simulations, we utilize Autodesk Moldflow, an advanced simulation tool. All these computations are supported by a powerful computing server.

Testing and
Prototyping

We carefully produce all prototypes in-house, ranging from metal-formed parts to injection-molded polymer components or machined parts. Heat treatment of steel components and surface painting processes are integral parts of our workflow.

Most tests are conducted in our own laboratories, equipped with specialized test equipment as well as Weisstechnik climatic chambers, Q-FOG corrosion chambers, and tensile testing machines.

Integrated 5th Door Lock

Challenge
The existing solution consists of a separate lock and actuator, taking up space as two independent products on the 5th door, weighing a total of 2000 g.

Solution
Brano succeeded in combining both components while maintaining the same functionality.

Customer Benefit
As a result, a more compact, cost-effective, and lighter product was achieved with the same functionality and a reduced carbon footprint.
